Koongo offers a user-friendly connection wizard that streamlines the process of creating and managing listings on the Fruugo marketplace.
The wizard simplifies connecting online stores to the Fruugo marketplace with a clear 6-step integration process.
1 - Connection
Let's get started! Connect your List Offer wizard type to your Fruugo account via Octopia. Please register a seller account in Octopia to obtain your Seller ID and API permissions.
2 - Identifiers
This is an important step where you define the attributes used as the main identifiers for Fruugo. Please double-check the attributes already in use if you want to update your existing listings.

Select the attribute with the EAN (barcode) or GTIN code, it's required for selling on Fruugo. How to get EANs?
3 - Language
To create new products in the Fruugo (Octopia) catalog, you need to set the language for your product titles, descriptions, and other attributes. Octopia supports English, French, and Spanish. Please, select the right language value from the dropdown list.
4 - Categories
Easily assign your products to the correct Fruugo categories using store categories or product attributes. This will ensure that your products are correctly categorized on Fruugo. For more information, please check the Category mapping guide.
5 - Products
Choose the products you want to add to the Fruugo catalog. Only new items that Fruugo doesn’t recognize by their GTIN (EAN, UPC, ISBN, or other) will be added. If the wizard detects a GTIN that already exists on Fruugo, the product will be Locked and Koongo won’t modify it unless you Unlock it manually within the wizard. 6 - Attributes
Optimize your new Fruugo products by clicking the + Rewrite Attribute button. Select the attribute you want to adjust and map it to your store’s attribute. You can set a default value for all items or customize it further using text/math operations and by adding an unlimited number of macro rules per attribute. Please, take a moment to review the Fruugo-specific attributes for the categories you're selling in.
Not sure about certain values?
Simply set a default value that best fits your products or customize the store attribute using the macro editor and combination of rules.
7 - Preview
Here, you can check all the products ready for the Fruugo integration. Once you're satisfied with the integration settings, please activate Fruugo synchronization. Once your products are sent to Fruugo and approved, they can be activated through the List Offers wizard type.
