Koongo’s new connection wizard simplifies the creation of new products on the Amazon marketplace.
With a clear 6-step integration process, adding new items or updating existing product attributes in your Amazon catalog is now faster and more intuitive than ever.
1 - Connection
Connect your store to Amazon by selecting the marketplace country and clicking the Connect Amazon Account button. You'll be redirected to your Amazon Seller Central to grant the necessary permissions, then automatically returned to Koongo.
2 - Identifiers
This is an important step where you define the attributes used as the main identifiers for Amazon. Please double-check the attributes already in use if you want to update existing Amazon listings.
External Product ID Type -
Choose the type of barcode you use to identify this product: EAN, UPC, or GTIN.
External Product ID -
Select the attribute that contains the product's barcode number, based on the type you chose (EAN, UPC, or GTIN).
SKU -
A selling partner provided indentifier for an Amazon listing.
Currency -
Select the right currency used in your prices.
3 - Categories
Easily match your products to the right Amazon category using your store's categories or advanced mapping based on product attributes & functions. This helps make sure your products are correctly placed and that all required category details and attributes are filled in and loaded. For more information on how to complete the mapping, please refer to the Category mapping guide.
4 - Products
Select the products you want to add to the Amazon catalog. Only new products, not recognized by Amazon, based on their GTIN's (EAN, UPC, ISBN, ASIN) values, will be added. If the wizard detects a GTIN code already existing on Amazon, the product will be Locked and Koongo won’t process or modify it unless you Unlock it manually within the same wizard. By the way, if you need to filter items, you can do so at this step, please check the Attribute and Category Filter guide.
5 - Attributes
In this step, you can select any attribute type you want to adjust and link it to your store’s attribute (Set Attribute), add a default value for all products (Set Value), or apply advanced text and math operations using multiple macro rules per attribute (Customize), with no limits.
The common attributes in the first block should already be defined based on the previous step’s settings. However, you can always optimise or rewrite any of them by clicking the + Rewrite Attribute button.
The second attribute block is reserved for category-specific attributes, grouped accordingly. You can use the search bar in the top right to find any category attribute you want to add, or click the + Category Attribute button.
6 - Preview
Here, you can check all the products ready for the Amazon integration. Once you're satisfied with the integration settings and listing preview, you can access the Sync Manager to either Manually submit the wizard content or activate Auto Sync mode and let Koongo run the process automatically. Once your products are sent to Amazon and approved, they can be activated through the List Offers wizard type.
