Sync Orders ↔ Amazon

Synchronize Amazon orders to your online store.

Updated yesterday

The Amazon Order Synchronization Wizard helps you set up automatic order imports from your Amazon Marketplace into your store.

This article explains the 3-step setup process, including all configuration fields and best practices to ensure a smooth synchronization.

Where to Find It

You can access the Amazon Order Sync Wizard in two ways:

  • As a standalone wizard from at Integrations > Amazon > Sync Orders

  • Or within the Amazon Wizard for Listing Offers (or Update Price and Inventory) under the Orders step.

Step 1 – Connect to Amazon

Connect your Amazon Seller account as described in the article
➡️ How do I connect to Amazon Marketplace

This step authorizes Koongo to communicate with your Amazon Marketplace through Amazon SP-API.

Step 2 – Configure Order Settings and Advanced Options

In this step, you define how order synchronization will behave.
Below is a list of all available settings:

  • Order Sync Level

    • Orders & Stock: Sync orders and update stock.

    • Stock Only: Update stock only, without syncing orders.

  • Product Identification Attribute

    • Select the store attribute that matches your Amazon Seller SKU. This field links Amazon order items with products in your store.

  • Default Shipping Service – Store Shipment

    • Used when your store’s shipping service does not match any Amazon-approved service.

  • Default Order Shipping Method

    • Enter the default shipping method for Amazon orders (e.g., DHL DE). If you prefer to use values imported directly from Amazon, leave this field empty. This value is also used as the Carrier Name when uploading shipments to Amazon if no Carrier Name is provided by your store.

  • Order Cancellation Reason

    • Defines the default cancellation reason used when an order is canceled in Amazon.

  • Ignore Amazon Tax

    • When enabled, Amazon tax lines will be ignored during order item processing.

  • Tax Is Included in Prices

    • Indicates that tax is already included in the base item and shipping prices imported from Amazon.

Step 3 – Review and Finish Setup

The final step displays a summary of your configuration.

Tips & Common Issues

  • ⚠️ Product Identification Attribute is crucial.
Make sure this field correctly matches your Amazon Seller SKU to link orders with the right store products.

  • When using the Order Sync Wizard together with the Listing Offers or Update Price and Inventory wizard, the Product Identification Attribute is hidden here — it’s already defined in the second step of the combined wizard.

  • Order details - You can check each order's details.
