Marketplace Control Panel – Step-by-Step Guide

The Marketplace Control Panel in Koongo helps you manage your product offers and order synchronization with your connected marketplace. From here, you can see the status of your products, fix errors, and control how your offers are submitted.

This guide explains each section of the control panel and shows you how to use it effectively.

1. Accessing the Marketplace Control Panel

  1. Log in to your Koongo account.

  2. Navigate to Marketplaces.

  3. Select your marketplace integration project.

  4. The Marketplace Control Panel opens automatically, showing an overview of your products and statuses.

2. Understanding the Statistics Overview

At the top of the panel, you’ll find a quick summary of your integration:

  • Listed – Number of products successfully published.

  • Processing – Products currently being synced.

  • Error – Products with listing errors.

  • Inactive – Items paused or not active.

  • Total – Total items connected to the marketplace.

👉 Tip: If the “Error” number is high, scroll down to check the error details and resolve them.

3. Reviewing Errors & Refused Products

When a marketplace rejects a product, you’ll see detailed messages under Refused. Common errors include:

  • Brand not recognized within the category.

  • Duplicate EAN already exists.

  • Missing product details required by the marketplace.

How to fix:

  1. Read the error message.

  2. Open the product detail in Koongo or your store.

  3. Correct the missing or incorrect data (e.g., add a brand name, adjust EAN, fill in required fields).

  4. Resubmit the product (see Section 5).

4. Choosing a Submission Mode

You can control how your offers are submitted to the marketplace:

  • Manual Submission – Select items and click Submit.

  • Auto-Pilot – Koongo submits and updates offers automatically.

  • Pause 30’ – Temporarily stop submissions for 30 minutes.

👉 Recommended for most merchants: Use Auto-Pilot so your prices, stock, and offers stay up-to-date without extra work.

5. Managing Products in the Offer List

The main product table shows each connected item with:

  • Product title, EAN, reference code

  • Price & quantity

  • Status in Koongo vs. Status in the marketplace

Status examples:

  • Pending – Waiting to be processed.

  • Missing Product – Product data is incomplete.

  • Unknown – Status not confirmed by the marketplace.

  • Active – Successfully listed and available for sale.

Actions available per product:

  • ▶️ Resubmit or sync item.

  • ⚙️ Edit product details.

  • 🗑️ Remove product from submission (if necessary).

6. Using Filters & Bulk Actions

  • Filter by – Narrow down products by status (errors, active, processing, etc.).

  • Show Recently Processed – Focus on the most recent updates.

  • Bulk Actions – Select multiple items and apply actions like resubmit or sync at once.

7. Managing Profiles & Connections

In the tabs at the top of the control panel, you’ll find:

  • Profiles – Manage offer profiles and listing templates.

  • Connections – Configure your marketplace API connection and credentials.

8. Best Practices

  • Check the Error section daily to keep your listings healthy.

  • Use Auto-Pilot mode for automated updates.

  • Keep product data (title, EAN, brand, images, attributes) complete and consistent across your store and Koongo.

  • If an error message links to marketplace documentation, follow the link for more details.

Conclusion

The Marketplace Control Panel is your command center for selling on online marketplaces. It combines real-time statistics, detailed error reporting, submission controls, and product management tools in one place. By following this guide, you can keep your offers active, fix issues quickly, and grow your sales with less effort.

Would you like me to make two versions of this guide:

  1. A generic Marketplace version (like this one).

  2. A marketplace-specific version (e.g., “Amazon Control Panel,” “eBay Control Panel”) — where I adapt examples and errors to match that marketplace?
