6 - Attributes
In this step, you can configure and optimize all eBay attributes. They are divided into two dedicated sections: Common Attributes and Category Attributes.
You can also add additional marketplace attributes anytime using the + eBay Attribute button or quickly search for attributes using the search bar.
Understanding Common vs. Category Attributes
Common Attributes apply to all your products regardless of eBay category. They include fields like SKU, MPN, title, description, price, and condition. Most of these are preconfigured automatically based on your earlier steps — you mainly need to verify the mapping is correct.
Category Attributes are specific to the eBay category you mapped in step 4. They vary significantly between categories. For example:
In Clothing → Shoes, you'll see attributes like Size System, EU Size, Width
In Sporting Goods → Dance, you'll see Shoe Size, Style, Material
These attributes also control how variants are grouped on eBay. eBay uses specific Category Attributes (e.g. Size, Colour) as variation axes — meaning products with the same parent will appear as a single eBay listing with selectable options. If the variation attribute is not correctly mapped, each variant may be rejected or treated as a separate product.
How to map attributes
For each attribute you can:
Set Attribute — map it directly to a field from your store (e.g. map EU Size to your Store attribute shoe_size)
Fix Value — set a static value for all products (e.g. Condition = New)
Apply Rule — use a macro for advanced transformations (e.g. convert shoe size formats, combine fields)
To reuse an existing rule in a different category, click Apply Rule and select from your saved rules. If the browser doesn't appear, try removing and re-adding the attribute.
Tips
Start with a small set of products (1–2 per category) to validate your attribute mapping before submitting in bulk.
Products with image issues will still appear valid in the preview — check your images separately.
If a mandatory attribute is missing or has an invalid value, the product will be rejected by eBay. Check the error details in the Control Panel.
An additional Orders step may appear if you choose to manage your marketplace orders through Koongo
7 - Preview
Here, you can review all the products that will be exported to eBay.com after the settings defined in the previous steps are applied. Once you're satisfied with the integration settings and listing preview, you can access the Control Panel to either Manually submit the current listings or activate the Auto Pilot mode to let Koongo keep everything running smoothly.
